Ms. McIntyre's 6th Grade Class

Albion Elementary School

A Note To Incoming 6th Graders

Before you know it, you will be walking back through those big double doors to a school that you will be the leaders of.

I am very excited to begin our journey together and look forward to learning about each and every one of you.

To help prepare yourself for 6th grade, here are a few school supplies that will make your life easier.

One 3 Ring Binder to combine all subjects into

(Please no trapper keepers- these don't tend to fit into our desks.)

One set of dividing tabs for this 3 ring binder

Enough paper to enter into your binder in every section

As many mechanical pencils that you can get your hands on

(You know how quickly pencils are used up!)

A hand - held pencil sharpener (for when you run out of mechanical pencils)

*Note*

No pens will be allowed for usage on classwork or homework

These things will give you a head start in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Please email me if you need help acquiring these items.

About Ms. McIntyre

My name is Ms. McIntyre and I am the 6th grade teacher at Albion ElementarySchool. I graduated from Husson College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Science. While there, I was part of the Women’s basketball team and the Outdoors Club.

Some of my interests include playing basketball, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family.

Last school year was my first full year of teaching.  I worked in the resource room as a special education teacher, at Mount View Junior High School (grades 7-8).  This experience helped me understand the importance of individualizing instruction for my students.  I also worked as the JV girl’s basketball coach at Lawrence High School.

Farewell to the 6th grade class of 2016!  I enjoyed my year and getting to know you all very much.

Good luck at the Junior High!!!

(Don't forget to come back and visit me!)
