“The little school with a big heart and big dreams”

Mr. Tracy, Our new Principal
A Message From Your Principal…Mr. Tracy
Welcome back everyone! I am very pleased after almost 5 years as principal in a former school district in Dexter to be starting this new journey with you all. I am so excited to see all of your faces as we begin to think about fall which is quickly approaching. As always, our goal at Clinton is to help guide your son or daughter into their future.
Please take the time to get to know me, I think you'll find that I am fun and fair. I can always be reached at the school at 426-2181 or at mtracy@msad49.org.
Dismissal / Drop Off
The parent drop off / pick up area directly in front of the school lobby remains tricky and congested. I wanted to remind parents of the importance to keep the traffic flow moving. If you are dropping your son or daughter off we ask you to do so with out parking out front. If you are picking them up we ask that you to make sure to sign them out at the lobby desk. Some parents have begun to park illegally across the street which slows down the dismissal flow for others. We are working on how we can make dismissal better for all. FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL, PLEASE DO NOT PARK ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE FRONT LOBBY.
Goals
WE ALWAYS HAVE THE GOAL OF TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY!
As the teachers and I are learning together we have recognized that Math will be a major focus for our students this year. I have also made it a personal goal to improve the technology in the building this year as well.
Open House(s)
This year's open house was phenomenal! I was so pleased to have met many of you this week at our open house. The participation was wonderful. The children were able to meet their teachers and see their classrooms. We will continue to look for more ways like this to get you and the community involved here at Clinton more.
Picture Day
A reminder that Picture Day is September 21st for the entire school. We encourage all parents to make sure their child is dressed for that occasion. Picture count and packages should be selected and paid for before hand, and given to the teachers before picture day.
“Agriculture: The Heart of Clinton”
Don't forget the Clinton Parade and Fair this Year. The parade is Sept. 8th at 10:00 am and the fair begins on the 6th.
Peanut Safe...
Just a reminder that Clinton is a peanut safe zone. We have 3 grade levels with student who are allergic to peanut oils and so forth.
