5:45 PM: Students arrive at LJHS Gym for check in (Saturday, May 30th)

 

7:30 PM: Leave Lawrence Jr. High for Washington, DC (Bathroom breaks along the way)

 

6:00 AM: Breakfast McDonald’s in White Marsh, MD (Sunday, May 31st)

 

8:00 AM:  Memorials;  Korean War,  Vietnam War, & Lincoln

 

9:45 AM: World War II Memorial

 

10:30 AM: Washington Monument

 

11:30 AM:  Holocaust Museum 

 

1:00 PM: Lunch at Old Post Office Pavilion (Visit glass elevator & Old Post Office Tower)

2:45 PM: Newseum- Worlds Most Interactive Museum

5:15 PM:  ESPN Zone for supper

 

6:30 PM: Walk to White House

7:30 PM: Bus pick up to hotel

 

9:30: In Rooms

 

DAY 2 - June 1

6:45 AM: Wake Up

 

7:15 AM: Breakfast

 

7:45 AM: Board Bus for Fort McHenry

 

8:30 AM: Fort McHenry

10:00 AM: Board Bus for Naval Academy

11:00 AM: Tour of Naval Academy with Lunch

 

1:00 PM: Board Bus for National Aquarium

 

2:00 PM: National Aquarium with 4D movie and Dolphin Show

 

5:00 PM: Board bus for dinner at Inner Harbor

 

7:30 PM: Board Bus for Hotel

 

 

DAY 3 - June 2

6:00 AM: Wake Up

 

6:30 AM: Breakfast

 

7:00 AM: Bus to National Zoo

 

8:30 AM: Visit National Zoo

 

10:45: AM: Board Bus to National Archives

 

12:00 PM: Lunch at Old Post Office Pavilion (Visit glass elevator & Old Post Office Tower)

1:00 PM: Walk to American History Museum

 

3:00 PM: Meet in front of American History to walk to Air & Space

 

3:15 PM: Visit Air & Space Museum

   

5:00 PM: Board Bus Union Station for Dinner

 

6:30 PM: Board bus for Washington Nationals  Baseball game vs. San Francisco Giants

 

10:00 PM: In Rooms

 

DAY 4 - June 3

6:00 AM: Wake Up

 

6:30 AM: Breakfast

 

7:00 AM: Bus to Arlington National

 

8:00 AM: Tour of Arlington National Cemetery

 

10:10 AM: Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

 

11:00 AM: Board Metro to Union Station for Lunch

 

1:00 PM: Tour of the Capitol with Sen. Collins

 

2:45 PM: Board bus for trip to Somerset, NJ

 

7:30 PM: Check into Hampton Inn in Somerset, NJ

 

7:45 PM: Pizza Party & Pool Time

 

10:00 PM: In Rooms

 

DAY 5 - June 4

6:30 AM: Wake Up

 

7:00 AM: Breakfast

 

7:30 AM: Bus to Liberty State Park

 

9:00 AM: Board Ferry to Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty

 

2:30 PM: Arrive at Battery Park  (lunch on own)

 

4:00 PM: Board bus for Madame Tussaud's in Times Square

 

4:30 PM: Tour Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum

 

6:00 PM: Dinner at Dallas BBQ

 

7:15 PM: Board bus for Gershwin Theater for the Broadway musical Wicked

 

10:00 PM: Board bus for return to Hampton Inn

 

10:45 PM: In Rooms

 

 

DAY 6 - June 5

7:30 AM: Wake Up

 

8:00 AM: Breakfast

 

8:30 AM: Bus to Rockefeller Center

 

9:30 AM: Tour of Rockefeller Center & surrounding area with lunch on your own

 

12:15 PM: Go to the  Top of the Rock

 

1:30 PM: Board bus for return trip to Maine

 

5:00 PM: Dinner at McDonald’s in Sturbridge, MA

 

10:30 PM: Arrive at Lawrence Junior High
