April 29, 2021:  UPDATE from last evening—

Forty-five students and three additional members of the Transportation Department have been identified as close contacts.  We will continue with Fully Remote Learning and reassess our Transportation Department’s capacity over the following days.

We are making every effort to return to in-person learning. Thank you for your understanding in this challenging circumstance.

Dear Staff, Students, and Families,

I am writing to inform you that because Covid-19 positive cases have further impacted our Transportation Department, we are unable to operate the bus fleet. All District schools will be fully remote for Thursday, April 29 and Friday, April 30. We will update families when we have new information.

Please be reminded of the importance to continue to monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, call a health care provider if symptoms start, and stay home if you are sick. These practices are vital to our ability to operate.  Thank you for your patience and vigilance.

 Stay safe and be well.

Roberta Hersom

Superintendent of Schools
