RE: Community Visioning Events for School Construction Project
Dear Members of the MSAD 49 Community:
I am writing to ask for your participation in our district’s Major Capital Improvement Project. The Building Committee would like your input in order to help define the scope of the project based on our district’s needs and wishes for future educational programming.
The Building Committee hosted two events in January and is planning to visit each of our school communities to host forum events in the upcoming weeks. For your convenience, we are also hosting a virtual forum. Please join us at any event of your choosing.
Community Forum Events
Benton Forum: February 24—6:00 PM, Benton Elementary School
Clinton Forum: February 25—6:00 PM, Clinton Elementary School
Albion Forum: March 1—6:00 PM, Albion Elementary School
Fairfield Forum: March 2—6:30 PM, Lawrence Junior High School
Virtual Forum: March 2—5:30 PM
The goal of these Community Forum Events is to hear ideas, concerns, and suggestions from the communities of MSAD 49. We want to share with our communities information about our current resources, the process and schedule for the project in the upcoming year, and future possibilities. Most importantly, we want to provide opportunities for participation. We have also dedicated an email address for your comments and questions about the School Construction Project—please email questions@msad49.org. Additionally, updates on the project schedule, process, upcoming events, and a link to the Community Survey can be found at msad49.org.
