Dear Staff, Students, and Families,
Thankfully, our schools are all open now, despite the challenges presented by COVID. However, with cases on the rise in our schools and the number of students identified as close contacts, I urge you to consider participating in pooled testing as it is one of the exemptions from school quarantining (exclusion from attending in person) in the MCDC’s Standard Operating Procedure for exposure to a COVID positive individual.
We are offering pooled testing in all of our schools and are again providing this Pooled Testing Consent Form that you may complete online. Each school has a weekly designated testing date and an electronic form will help with speedier processing of forms. You may also print, complete and return to school.
Your student’s participation in this program will allow them to remain in school even when identified as a close contact, unless they become positive for COVID-19.
